In the above article, you fallaciously claimed that I lied without any supporting counter-evidence.
Your application for an acre of land at the concessional rate of US$1.50 per square foot, along with the other two from Shuggy and Serpent, is undoubtedly factual.
No one was trying to deprive you and your colleagues of obtaining a prize parcel of land at a concessional price.
The request was approved by the Cabinet; however, the land requested is reserved for Royalton expansion—fact again.
Pensioners Beach is surrounded by the sea and hills, not valleys. This is widely known by all—fact.
Richard, are you so dunce that you would apply for land in a valley when you currently live on a hill at Cooks Hill?
Are you suggesting that Shuggy and Serpent would leave their respective constituencies and prioritize buying land in Rural West, in your constituency, located in a valley? Really?
Land at Cooks Hill, where you live, retails for $15–$20 per square foot. How could you state that the land you seek, overlooking the Royalton, is worth $10 per square foot? The suggested rate of US$10–$15 per square foot is more in keeping with the market value.
If I am at fault for anything, it was for exposing the hypocrisy of you and your colleagues.
Let me remind you. You and your colleagues ridiculed and called me all sorts of names, including Lanny Bozo, for acquiring government land at a concessional rate.
I have served for 26 years and provided solid representation for the people of St. John’s City West.
I do not recall missing or boycotting a parliamentary sitting, other than missing one sitting, which occurred during a period when I was unjustifiably suspended for six months in 2010.
What has maddened you and your colleagues is that I simply exposed your hypocrisy and outlined how undeserving your colleagues are of benefiting from this parliamentary privilege.
Note that Jamale Pringle was sold an acre of land at a concessional rate, which we felt was justifiable considering that he served for a full term and as Opposition Leader.
We made no issue about it.
Pringle, unlike Serpent and Shuggy, has spent a significant amount of time advocating on behalf of his constituents.
Shuggy and Serpent, on the other hand, have spoken for no more than an aggregate of ten minutes each (no exaggeration) during the last two years, advocating on behalf of the people.
They both have been absent for more hours than they attended Parliament.
It is their dismal performance that makes this request reprehensible. If they had performed, there would be no issue concerning the requests for concessional land which is were approved by the Cabinet.
They are the ones who characterized the sale of land at a concessional rate to parliamentarians as self-enrichment. Even when my son bought an acre of land at Long Bay from a private owner for $750K and sold it to another private entity, they characterized it as self-enrichment.
Any reasonable person would now see the hypocrisy of Richard et al. If they were so convicted about this rhetoric of self-enrichment, they would not all be rushing at the same time to benefit from an arbitrage profit of up to EC$1.5M each on the proposed concessional land purchase.
Richard, your response has demonstrated that you are the one who is lying to save face from the hypocrisy that you continue to practice.
Your behavior is typical of a sly fox, a charlatan who espouses integrity.
Your UPP colleagues have read you right and do not trust you. In fact, they would like you to leave in peace and allow the party to heal instead of promoting distractions, including this ill-advised land grab.
Kindly note, Gaston Browne does not dabble in lies. He stands courageously on the truth and exposes the hypocrisy, lies, innuendos, and misinformation of unscrupulous politicians who hide behind the cloak of decency and integrity.
P.S.: Richard, your third-rate textbook deal, in which you made nearly $2M from government coffers, was more akin to cronyism and self-enrichment, evidencing your lack of integrity.

I note that once a UPP parliamentarian speaks out you are quick to defend Jamal Pringle. How much did you spend to ensure his victory as UPP leader? It appears to me that you are very conformable with Pringle at the helm of UPP and would do all you can to keep the status quo because you know for as long as he is there the easier your chance at reelection. Why are you so vested in Pringle? Why do you go out on a limb to defend his leadership style?
You are curious and seem to have a problem with Shuggy and Serpent seeking lands outside their constituency. Do you live in Marble Hill? Do you live in National Park? Do you live in Jennings? Do you live in Paynters? Having read your letter i took up both my thesaurus and dictionary and looked up the meaning of hypocrite. I didn’t see words. I saw your picture. What’s wrong with duly elected politicians seeking land at comcessionary rate as per government policy? At what price did you purchase your land at national park which was transferred to you on elections day 2004? Is the policy for labourites only?
You have been adding and timing Shuggy and Serpent’s contribution on the parliamentary debate floor. How much has Sir Robin debated? No matter how long you stretch, “Second The Motion”. It cannot add up to 30 seconds. That’s Sir Robin contribution in over two years. Is that what tax dollars was meant for?
Sale of government land at consessional price is used and abused is self enrichment. How does your son fall in that category? Though he is not a government officials he benefitted from consessionary pricing. In a real world you or your wife would have been in prison for insider trading. How did he know that the two parcels of government land was available for sale. Why wasn’t it sold to him at the same price for which he sold it to the Chinese woman. If it isn’t insider trading it is highway robbery.
So Gaston. When you attack Honourable Richard Lewis you are doing so at your peril. There will be missiles coming at you from every unprotected side.
May I remind you that you eulogy will not read your bank account nor the amount of land that you huff.

When the ABST was introduced and debated in 2006 the entire ABLP opposition boycotted parliament other than Senator Lennox Weston and he was fired for breaking ranks. Richard Lewis continues to PAPPYSHOW himself more and more. This is exactly why he is neither WANTED, NEEDED, RESPECTED, LIKED OR APPRECIATED within the UPP.
Anthony Smith detailed how he was hounded and harassed for supporting Richard in the leadership race, yet Richard continues to stay with a party that has REJECTED him. Upp has made it pellucidly clear what they think about Richard Lewis.

I am appalled at how these politicians in Antigua feel they are entitled. A civil servant has to work until 3 scores and 5 – just 5 more years to the given life span by our creator. Our teachers, nurses and police are working their butts off while both you politicians bask in corrupt activities. Then just for serving a few terms you get full pension. After not paying any bill.
We voted both government and opposition into office not to be sharing our lands between each other. The people of Antigua need to stand up.
We did not vote to give no government, no minister, no prime minister the authority to give to Pringle, to Serpent, to Gaston , to Maria , to Robin , to Cutie , to Richard Lewis , to Samantha, turn coat Anthony , Turner , to those past and present our lands for them selves.
It’s hell’s for a business person to get a piece of land to buy from government to develop. It’s hell’s for a private citizen, a nurse , a doctor, a teacher, a police to get a good plot of land. So Hon. PM when I listen to you it sounded that you were given the authority by the people to squander our lands. Not even your statement about reserve for Royalton expansion is valid. Royalton as you stated recently is one of the main culprits that doesn’t promote Antiguans. They pride in bringing none Antiguans in to do their maintenance, their accounts , their entertainment at Chic, their pool maintenance and their landscaping. Their hotels are deteriorating faster than they are built. So again the people did not elect you to set aside any lands for these foreign blood suckers.
Antigua needs a completely new set of politicians and a completely new political party. Antigua needs to be saved from this greed ,this corrupt mentality. So this article is exposing a lot more than what is being said. We need a complete change of heart. We need a change of direction.
I am calling on some educated young, Antiguans to set up a good political party. Come out of the shadows and please save Antigua land from both political parties and leadership.
Save Antigua from these get what you can , get what you take politicians.

Richard Lewis should have listened to Mr knight that any road you see ALP or Gaston walking on , get off and walk on a different street, or else you could be soiled by their presence, the UPP ministers should have never applied for no concessions of land under a scheme that is created by ALP over the years to rob the people of their patrimony and enrich themselves as we saw Gaston flip the lands in national park area and other places, I think Richard Lewis and shoogie and serpent drop the ball, they should have think that Anthony Smith and others would run take this land application to Gaston to appease him of their loyalty so Gaston can exploit them, if Gaston is accomplishing impossible feats like getting people’s private bank accounts and health information to come in air and make caricature of his opponents and private citizens what say you? In fact these men should instead seek to purchase private land to avoid begging their political opponent for what they are truly entitle to as a born Antiguan, just go the extra mile to avoid been tainted as the ALP and Gaston.

Please stop sparring with Prime minister Gaston Browne. You cannot win him. He is a very evil force with demonic traits. Lies are as natural to him as breathing in and breathing out.
He knows it’s a lie, his disciples know it’s a lie, but that does not matter.
The magnetic force of evil that surrounds him is spellbinding. Please, Mr Lewis, please try to stay far from him. Try not to breathe the same air he breathes. Evil radiates from that man like the dirty water coming out of the pipes.
Nobody in Antigua can win him. He is specially selected by the devil and his demonic forces guarantee that he has no soul. If you do not believe, just try to look into his eyes. They are empty. Like his soul.
