The staff members of ZDK Liberty Radio are in protest mode again.
Popular host James “Sly” J Simon who hosts the popular breakfast programme has not been heard for the morning.
A staff member confirmed that only music is being played on the government-aligned radio station.
The staff took action again after manager Ivor Bird failed to meet a Thursday deadline to implement certain changes.
The staff will meet again at noon based on an announcement airing on the radio station.
This time they expect to stay off the job until Monday.
They are unhappy with the direction of the radio station and the inability of the owners to make the necessary changes to ensure the viability of one of Antigua’s longest serving radio stations.
