Zamoni Martin, one of Antigua’s rising soca stars, officially kicked-off his “Wishful Thinking” Tour in Basel, Switzerland and continues onto 11 other cities to include France, Germany and Netherlands.
The burgeoning soca artist released his carnival 2020 singles last November and December consecutively, with “No Waste Gyal” and “Jiggle” at almost 30,000 views combined on Youtube. The German/Swiss-based artist also recently copped an endorsement deal with Canadian sneaker brand SnkrsZone and will take on the role of being one of the brand ambassadors of the company for 2020.
“I am really excited about carnival 2020 in Antigua, and there is a lot of interest in the European market for our music and our carnival. It brings me great honor to represent my country and arguably one of the best carnivals in the world”, says Zamoni.
“The snkrsZone endorsement deal is a great accomplishment for me and shows that with a strong brand it doesn’t matter where in the world you are based or where you are from as long as you have the following and you are the right fit you can attract strategic partnerships anywhere in the world. I am really looking forward to representing the brand to the best of my ability”, expressed the excited Antiguan artist.
Zamoni ends his European tour on April 10th in London and returns to Antigua for the season as he gears up to host his first local fete called “Float” to be held at the Valley Church Beach on April 26th, 2020.
