Debra Abbott has been fined $200 after she threatened to shoot a relative while in court on Tuesday.
Abbott, 64, was at the time of the threat, appearing before Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh regarding a land dispute matter involving another relative.
According to reports, while being questioned by her aunt’s attorney, Abbott pointed to her aunt and said she was going to shoot the woman.
Following that statement, Abbott who was the defendant in the case was arrested and charged for using threatening language.
Facing Magistrate Walsh on the charge today, the woman was fined and in default 2 months in prison.
