Mr. Atley reached out to Mr. Wehner due to a recurring problem on his farm. He believes that a boa constrictor has been preying on his pigs, resulting in significant losses.

Despite initially being dismissed by agricultural officials, Mr. Atley presented evidence, including a piece of a snake tail that his dogs had presumably bitten off during an encounter.

According to Mr. Atley, the attacks began during the COVID-19 pandemic, with smaller pigs disappearing every few weeks.

Recently, larger pigs have also gone missing, with some being found dead and squeezed to death, but unconsumed. Mr. Atley suspects that the constrictor is too large to consume these larger pigs fully.CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATS APP GROUP

After releasing his dogs, Mr. Atley believes they successfully killed the snake, as they brought him a piece of its tail.

The area where the snake is believed to be located emits a foul smell, characteristic of decaying snake flesh, supporting Mr. Atley’s claims.

Despite the evidence, agricultural officials have yet to investigate the matter thoroughly. Mr. Atley plans to clear the area where the snake is believed to be hiding to confirm its presence.

He urges caution to others in the area, as the snake could pose a threat to both livestock and humans.

  1. He needs to set up cameras to capture the snake so that he has proof. The persons that brought constrictors as pets are to blame for this.

  2. Hmph…when I told my coworkers I saw a snake when I was going home from work they laughed. Guys be careful okay and be vigilant.

  3. My experience with snakes, I don’t think the dogs can bite that tale off as purported, due to the thick scale armour on skin, one time I tried to cut a young baby snake with a knife and it’s scale just cause the knife to glide off, but it’s a good idea to set a goat in a cage down the water areas where the farmer mentioned, my experience with them it’s moist cool areas they love not the dry hot areas, a camera and wire lasso trap must be set, because even though you go looking it will be plain in site but camouflage to the environment making it hard to see, and it can taste the air to know our presence and avoid us. But it should be put down and check to see it’s sex in terms of reproduction which might have already done, the government workers will do nothing unless government authorize the use of vehicle and man power and overtime work pay. Those boaters and Caucasian people living coastal area have a direct port of entry to bring these things in as pets , and our system of semi-apartheid living mean they are never interfered with because they usually have buffer zones, so they have whatever pet they want, which has now escaped, this happen a lot in the virgin islands where the authority deal with them harshly, but at all times one should be watchful at any of these water areas lushed with vegetation, I want to take out these snakes, are you one?

  4. This is not a snake tail, Google images of snake tails, it’s not similar, there’s something else causing this poor farmer distress
