UWI Five Islands Guild Council Announces Postponement of “Crowned 2024” Pageant

St. John’s, Antigua – May 27, 2024: The UWI Five Islands Guild Council has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated “Crowned 2024” pageant, originally scheduled for June 1, 2024.

The decision comes in light of unforeseen events that have necessitated a change in plans.

In a statement released today, the organizing committee expressed deep regret over the postponement, emphasizing that the decision was made after thorough deliberation and careful consideration of recent developments.

“The decision to postpone was not made lightly. After careful consideration and in light of recent developments, we believe that this is the most prudent course of action,” the statement read.

The postponement has undoubtedly caused inconvenience and disappointment among participants, sponsors, and attendees who were looking forward to the event.
