National Hurricane Center (NHC): For the North Atlantic…Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico – Southwestern Caribbean Sea: A broad area of low pressure is likely to form over the southwestern Caribbean Sea in a few days.

Gradual development is possible thereafter, and a tropical depression could form late this week while the system drifts northeastward across the western and central portions of the Caribbean Sea.
