  3. Another sad story for those responsible for calamity that befell this young man. Heartfelt prayers on his behalf and may God grant him a successful recovery. I hope that this event in his life would propel him to institute a plan of action to advocate for his peers to move towards the path of resolving conflicts in peaceful ways and reject violence.

We hear the cries about youth violence. The fact is, we have ignored the root cause of these ills. We keep dealing with effects and disregard the causes.
When will the people wake up!
The heart of man is desperately evil and getting worse. We expect to plant potato vines and reap sweet oranges.
The mind of man is heavily messed up with evil and corruption. It takes no effort whatsoever to conjure hate and violence. It is much more difficult to meditate on positive sentiments. We need homes, churches, schools and communities to have joint partnership in imparting Godly character of peace, love and goodwill in the minds of our young people.
The sad fact is we cannot impart to others what we ourselves are lacking.
We have corrupted our minds, practise the corruption and still expect good results.
It just does not work that way.

We face the cold hard truth that we have lost our way and the only solution is turning to the Creator. However, the majority will not do such because it calls for discipline and accountability.

  4. How can it be just ONE suspect?!! I would think the others are participants in the crime just by being there and not assisting the victim. The officers need to take another trip.
