  1. The Minister of Education!!
    “World Tour”
Darryn Matthew is on his pop up visits all over the World, he was in America , then Japan , next stop who knows .
In meantime a free for all, schools are getting robbed in Antigua.

That must be a traumatic experience for the children, when you show up for school next day thieves broke in. Items Stolen.
Please Mr. Education Minister of Education
bout time you concentrate on your dam job. Secure the schools.

  2. Government should do all the best to catch those who is doing these crime, and let them face the law that’s madness, that’s where children lean,it’s a Shane

  3. Oh my. Hope they don’t have to resort to the infamous instructions of the person Lovell called THE Tissue Paper PM

“SHARPEN U CUTLISS BACK AND BELLY. CHAP DEM UP”

  4. What the thieves doing with the stolen items? I am sure somebody is buying them. Why nobody reporting suspicious items to the police? There are some low life people in Antigua.

    • You are the only one asking the right questions.
Sometimes I wonder how on our little Island certain crimes do not get solved more quickly or at all. We do not large black market in stolen goods. Thieves steal so that they can sell their stolen goods for cash. It makes no sense for you to steal my watch and wear it. Someone may recognize it on your hand and then you will be identified as the person who stole it. Remember the people that were caught at Epicurean when they had a watch stolen from a prominent family? Anyway, stealing school stuff means you must have a buyer. And the police need to focus on the buyers not the thieves. And as I said there are not that many buyers. And the law needs to punish the buyer more severely than the thieves, cause without buyers the thieves have no market for their goods. So, it doesn’t become worthwhile to steal.

  5. The government promised on national TV that Special security will provide security during the day and until certain time at nights, then the army and police will take over until morning. Dean Jonás also said that they have agreed to make funds available to special security. I heard that they owed this security company for years. That is why Mr.Purcell have withdrawn his security from working right around the clock. Heard the police and the army is not showing up for their shift. As usual I am sure that the government is not paying the local contractor- special security.

  6. This is the worst minister of education ever. This guy do not care if education comes or goes. Similarly we have a show boast Directoooor. If he was only a half good director it would have been an opportune time for the technicians to make a mark. Instead he don’t care as much as the minister except to go on radio, TV and even cabinet and show boast. Education falling down down down. A better they had left the EBooks minister.
