Due to the expected arrival of Tropical Storm Tammy on Friday, October 20, 2023, all public learning institutions will be closed.
This decision, made by the Director of Education, Clare Browne, aims to ensure proper preventative measures and the use of schools as storm shelters.
All staff are required to report to work to assist with preparations, with early departure as directed by principals.
Private schools are also advised to take similar precautions.
