On Thursday March 12, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Senator Richard Lewis will be hosting a Townhall Meeting at the Green Bay School, to educate members of the Rural West Community about the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Advising the attendees will be a panel of experts including Dr. Delrose Christian, another expert healthcare practitioner and Public Health inspectors.
The meeting aims to disseminate facts on:
– How to prepare for the Coronavirus
– How to protect oneself and family
– How to prevent the spread of the virus
– Proper handwashing techniques
“Sound preparation, based on scientific evidence, is what is needed to face the Novel Coronavirus crisis at this time,” Senator Lewis says. He adds, “However, while many people are sharing accurate information about the virus and how to protect against it, there is also some misinformation in circulation. I believe that bringing the relevant experts – armed with reliable information – directly to the community, will boost our preparedness and minimize the spread of paranoia, fear and stigmatization.”
