  1. Now there’s a surprise, our very own Prime Minister dancing abroad again instead of dealing with the difficulties we have here in the country.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t he away in recent times?

Surely, Gaston Browne could have sent someone else to delegate on his – and the country’s – behalf?

Autochthonous Antiguans still want answers on the refugees/asylum seekers that are desperate and strolling around our country.

Prime Minister Browne is hoping that this security homeland breach will go away soon, but intelligent, critical thinkers and concerned citizens will not let it disappear. Never!!!

You continue to dance abroad Gassy, instead of dancing at home … it’ll be to your detriment over time.

  2. What is the real point of all of this meeting? Last week this man went at some regional meeting regarding transportation in the region. On the weekend I priced an airline ticket from St Kitts to Antigua on BA. $104 for the air passage. When taxes are added it was $294. of the addition Antigua alone had a charge of $75.00 for some usage fee. When this clown talk about regional transportation and ticket prices dont pay him any mind.

  3. So why didn’t the Prime Minister of Canada send someone else or the other Prime Ministers in the region…correct me if I’m wrong!!! But I honestly think the Leader of the opposition should be a part of the delegation….correct me if I’m wrong!! Or walk with Serpent so the PM can get some coverage on Observer Radio.

  4. Well said @Brixtonian. Never seen a man who travels as much as this guy, and for what? The other heads must be snickering on the sly at this failure of a prime minister and finance minister. Our country is on the brink of collapse as all systems are in disaster mode. It is disconcerting at best that they put this idiot back where he is. Let him continue run, the hands of karma are closing in.

  5. These talk shops should remain online. They cost a lot and produce very little. I wish they make a list of their accomplishments over the many years of talking and meeting. First of all, the Chairmanship rotates to fast in my opinion and that is one reason nothing really gets done. And sub-committees are not held accountable for meeting concrete goals. Where is the urgency of the inter Caribbean shipping arrangement that was agreed to and not to forget regional airlift. Can not even agree on keeping LIAT in the air. The OECS has done much better than CARICOM. Let’s forget about CARICOM. Too many cooks spoil the broth.

    • Everywhere or so the PM is traveling to some meeting or other which have nothing to do with the nasty mess he created jn Antigua barbuda. Stop running away and face the music.

    • It always. amazes me how you guys seem to have all the answers without ever setting foot in running government or business. Just all talk. If one were to listen to you guts, Antigua and Barbuda would be perfect. Pollyanna state.

  6. So who is managing the country major assets?? I am sure his wife is with him to lend him her shoulder too cry 😢 on while begging for finances.

  7. For those persons who are insinuating that PM Browne is somehow on a “Joyride” going away regularly. We must all understand and educate ourselves about the ever changing world around us, greater cooperation amongst countries and Governments to tackle and solve problems that confront all of humankind. Whatever our opinion of him our Prime Minister is widely recognized as an articulate effective leader on the regional and the world stage. Let us all behave as the adults we all are and wish him and the leaders of CARICOM success in all their negotiations on our behalf.

    • You would do well to remember @ Sharon Lycorish; that those with a history of BAD behaviour and poor accomplishments are always the FIRST accused.

Furthermore, your esteemed leader Gaston Browne would do well to remember this popular Caribbean saying:

ALL FISH 🐠 DOES BITE, BUT SHARKS 🦈 ALWAYS GET DI BLAME …

  8. MP CHET & Chair
Please have Caricom give Haiti full membership status regarding the rights of Haitians to travel in the region, to work and to be safe.
They must meet same criteria as any of us full Caricom member citizens going for a job elsewhere, but give them a chance, please.

Also, please determine and publish the specific criteria to be deemed an asylum seeker or refugee arrival.

Please do not underestimate the hell that is Haiti at the moment.

Forget the talkshops, Caricom, take actions above that are within your remit to give some Haitians an opportunity.

  9. Whilst the PM is in The Bahamas, Homeland Security should pay him a visit and escort him to the cells of the US.

  10. I hope he flew through US territory because it’s been 25 days since election and the FBI dont reach yet. And no sign of the $4b in the belly of the plane to date.

LIES will never outlast truth! UPP signature playbook

  11. @Sharon, widely recognized by whom? You must have said that in jest. Gaston Brown is articulate? I must have missed that news report. The man talks. Of that there is no doubt, but the lies, the inflammatory, ghetto bullying and abuse? Wow. Take a dictionary and check his use of some of the ‘big words’ he spills. You would be surprised.

    • “Watching” the HON. GASTON BROWNE knows how to represent locally, regionally and internationally. He has an excellent vocabulary, great reasoning and can switch effortlessly between local dialect and standard English.

The clueless DUNCEY HEAD little boy that his elders within his party planning to OVERTHROW needs yo go back to PRIMARY SCHOOL!!!

  12. BRIXTONIAN is still bitter because UPP lost the election and BRIXTONIAN chances of becoming a Senator is ZERO. Now is time for BRIXTONIAN to find a real job. Sorry BRIXTONIAN, ABLP is still the Government.
