NHC – The National Hurricane Center’s update reveals potential tropical depression formation:

Eastern Tropical Atlantic (AL98): Showers and storms near Cabo Verde Islands could lead to a short-lived tropical depression this weekend.

Chances are high (70%) within 48 hours but decrease later.

Central Tropical Atlantic (AL99): Low-pressure area between Cabo Verde Islands and Lesser Antilles shows low chances (30%) of developing into a depression as it moves west-northwest.

East-Southeast of Lesser Antilles: A tropical wave might develop gradually with low chances (10%) in 48 hours, extending to the Caribbean.
