The Antigua Public Utilities Authority says the ongoing industrial action at the General Post Office has affected its bill distribution.

Telecommunications Business Unit said today that there has been a delay in the distribution of inet home, mobile and business bills.

APUA says customers call the inet Tech Support or request a copy of their bill via email.

“We would like to remind customers to be mindful of your due dates and ensure that accounts are kept up-to-date to avoid interruption in service,” the company said in a news release.

The industrial action at the post office has been ongoing since December.

Postal workers want the promised improvements to the building to be completed.

Officials say work has started on the repairs.

  1. Looking at this picture in the article, it really illustrates how Antigua has an obesity epidemic. Antiguan’s need to stop eating so much sugar, bread, and rice – it is literally killing our kids.

    • I concur with you about the obesity issue. Seems like the Antiguans are proud to be like the Americans and the English as the fattest nations on the planet. How very sad.

  2. These lazy ass employees need to get back to work. They look quite happy to be off the job, as opposed to irritated by their working conditions. Smh.
