Support and condolences are flooding in for Prime Minister Gaston Browne and his family after the passing of his mother, Patricia Rose Richards, on Tuesday.
Maria Browne, the Prime Minister’s wife, confirmed the news, expressing her grief on social media: “My heart is heavy. God has a purpose for all our lives, and in hers, He placed an extraordinarily important one. Immensely grateful for this lady who nurtured her family despite challenges, instilling priceless values. She is the true definition of resilience and strength.”
Prime Minister Browne later shared his own tribute: “Soldiering on in grief over the sudden passing of my dear mother, Patricia Rose Richards. Love you, Mom; may your soul rest in peace and rise in heaven.”
Chairman of the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party, EP Chet Greene, expressed condolences on behalf of the party, acknowledging the profound impact of a parent’s loss and the role Patricia played in shaping the Prime Minister.
