Prime Minister Gaston Browne says a decision on whether to increase the Antigua and Barbuda Sales Tax will be made during Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday.
He was responding to a question by Rural West Member of Parliament Richard Lewis in the Lower House of Parliament today.

Gaston you just spoke with 2% of your brain. A sales tax of 2% cannot guarantee increase in salary and still pay debts . By the way how will the tax be adjusted at the register on the basket of goods that are exempt when the sales tax is on the total cost at checkout.
Why doesn’t Gaston conduct proper consultations with the people instead of these cat and mouse games. He is immature and plays too many games. Come to the people with well reasoned solutions not this dolly catcher business.
