Sincerest Sympathies to the Family and Nation of Antigua and Barbuda on the

Passing of Sir Lester Bryant Bird, Former Prime Minister and National Hero

The Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control policy (ONDCP)
expresses heartfelt condolences to the family of Sir Lester Bryant Bird on his
saddening passing.

A distinguished leader and an outstanding public figure, Sir Lester played an
integral role in developing the concept and initializing the formation of the ONDCP,
which now stands as one of the region’s leading law enforcement agencies.

His visionary approach has well served the Organization, and by extension the
jurisdiction, in establishing a noteworthy profile within regional and international
spheres.

Undoubtedly, the people of Antigua and Barbuda have lost a powerful force and an
illustrious steward whose commitment to development, modernization and
integration has made him a much loved leader of the region.

The Director, management and staff of the ONDCP salute the memory of this
extraordinary man, and we mourn his loss alongside his family, friends and the
nation.

  1. Antigua, this land of my birth, is a special place.
When I become a grown-ass man, I am going into politics. There, I will be the most devious, corrupt, dishonest, unsavoury, distrustful, whoring, abusive, money grabbing, politician ever. That way I can guarantee that I will be knighted, become a national hero and loved by the people so that when I die, I will be praised and glorified and given a royal funeral.
No one will speak ill of me or about all the horrible things I did while in office. No one will care that I was a traitor to my country because I sided with a Guyanese white man to send home all Antiguan workers and hire foreigners. You see we are all good Christians. We do not speak ill of the dead. That is how I know I can get away with all the nasty things I do as a politician.
Did I say that Antigua is a special place?

  2. The evil that men do lives after them. The good is oft interred with their bones. So let it be with the Dato Tan Hock matter. A man who got our prime lands(Guiana Island) for less than the crumbs from the table. Why did that allowed to happen? Why no one was arrested, charged and Prosecuted for that land matter? Who enriched themselves from that transaction.

  3. Can the public get an update on the status of the high ranking ONDCP guerrilla warrior? Is he still collecting a paycheck?
