There will be an intersection closure. The intersection of Sir George Walter Highway(Airport Road) and Sir Sidney Walling Highway (Factory Road) will be closed this weekend: Saturday and Sunday to facilitate APUA utility works. This section closure will begin on Saturday at 7:00 AM The details were explained by ASP Ellis during his brief remarks.
The junction from Sir Sidney Walling Hwy and Sir George Walter Hwy will be closed from 7:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday 16th May, 2020 and will reopen at night. The closure will also take place on Sunday 17th May, 2020 from 7:00 to 6:00pm.
As a result of the closure, road users will only be able to access businesses within the closure from the Sir George water Hwy and Old Parham Road during work hours. The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda will be providing traffic management support.
The main diversion will be: Hawkins Drive.
