In the week ahead Monday 22nd– Friday 26th June 2020 sections of Friars Hill road as well as Sir George Walter Highway will be closed as part of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project now under way.

Work on Friars Hill Road:
Roadworks will continue this week in phase 3C and 3D of Friars Hill Road with the section of the road between Rohan Henry Street to Dickenson Bay Street being closed for two weeks to facilitate resurfacing works.
Duration: 2 weeks
Local access will be maintained as business owners, customers and residents trying to gain access are asked to enter from the northern end of closure i.e Cemetery end.
Work on Sir George Walter Highway:
Roadworks continue in phase 2A of Sir George Walter Highway with the closure limits being between south of Dees Service station Junction to Utopia Park Apartments.
Traffic Management: Road closure with local access maintained
Local access will be maintained as business owners, customers and residents are urged to proceed with caution.
