Real news reported this week that a purported investor in Antigua’s Special Economic Zones, holding a Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP) passport, is allegedly wanted in China for involvement in a major financial scandal with Huludao Bank.

According to the report, the individual persuaded the bank in 2020 to purchase a 2.6 billion yuan “asset management plan,” but diverted $250 million overseas and used the remainder to settle personal debts before fleeing China in 2021, according to documents.

An arrest warrant and Interpol Red Notice were subsequently issued, Real News said.

  1. WANTED BY INTERPOL?

Can it get any worse for ABLP? And how have they survived for so damn long?

Again, no due diligence seems to have taken place by this wayward government; and I’ve said all along that third parties should never have be used for checking whether or not the CIP applicants are bona fide ones. Terrible!

This man also needs to retire, he’s not fit for purpose and no-one believes a word he now says.

Sadly, the current crop of Ministers’ in power are teaching our up and coming young politicians how to be perfidious and mendacious.

  2. Why does this old, washed up fool, with absolutely no credibility keep talking? Did he present ANY evidence to refute the allegations?
All he has done is to confirm the story that what Gaston Browne alluded to is highly likely. Another dunce, dumb move by the DAWG to sell out this country for nothing. Chances are it will fail, just like it’s instigator.
Talk about that Max Wurst. Talk about how this dunce that haunts out nation with his stupidity, continues to sell us out to all kinds of international crooks.
Let’s see how the compromised civil servants in the CIP program try to paint this with fair colors. People here are so spineless it’s ridiculous now.

  3. This guy will never make a mistake and speak the truth. He’s closer to 80 than 75 and still exhibiting this kind of behavior. He surely seems to be guided by the devil.

  4. how can someone eyes open widely and just tell lies without blinking their eye? I have to say the news worker is doing an exceeding well job in telling the truth.

  5. Max Wurst is liar than lie itself. If lie did see Max Wurst approaching. It would jump off of Devil’s Bridge and swim across the Atlantic Ocean.

    • Does Antigua have to publish a list of CIP citizens for public review as it does for each citizen by naturalization?
