(Dashboard Update for July 16, 2021)
The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed no new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 16th July 2021 at 6pm.
Ninety-nine (99) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains one thousand two hundred and sixty-eight (1268); which is inclusive of two (2) active cases. There are no hospitalized cases.
Meanwhile, thirty seven thousand two hundred and sixty-one (37,261) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered of which twenty eight thousand seven hundred and twenty-three (28,723) received the second dose.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

Do not belive these numbers, more covid is in our twin island state. And when the brits bring delta here, with 9 flights next week, we will be in trouble, like tortola 0 cases to 1600 in a day. I ask and plead to all Antigua and Barbuda, please take the jab. Which ever one you have confidence in. It is not the holy grail, but it will prevent you from several other complications. Yes you can still get covid, yes you can still transmit covid, but you should be protected from sever systems. You can prevent our home from a temporary time of overwhelming our critical care system. That is all the vaccine can do. Stop us from exposure to over running or care system. We have chosen $$$$ over health to open our home to visitors. I am not in agreement with this, we only get it in if we import it, but I must live with it, so please do the best we can, take the jab, it is unfortunate we are placed in this situation, but we have no leadership here to move past tourist $$$. So play the cards we are delt, save your self, the gov does not care.
