(Dashboard Update for May 26, 2021)
The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed no new new laboratory confirmed Covid-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 24th May 2021 at 6pm.
Thirty (30) samples were processed by Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.
Two (2) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand two hundred and two (1202).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains one thousand two hundred and fifty-eight (1258); which is inclusive of fourteen (14) active cases. There are no hospitalized cases.
Meanwhile, thirty two thousand seven hundred and thirty-seven (32,737) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered while eight thousand five hundred and seventy-nine (8,579) second doses were administered.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

Clarification please.
As people receive their second jab, are they deducted from the first dose figure and added to the second dose figure?
Or are you recording second jab people TWICE?
Recording first dose, is still first dose. Recording second dose is second dose, would not be removed from first dose category, as they still had first dose, then second dose.
@mary – I get your point however I’m concerned that people, particularly from away, may think our TOTAL is the first & second dose figures added together. Hence my question.
