No new cases of COVID-19

(Dashboard Update for April 18, 2021)

 

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. Johns Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed no new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Friday 16th April 2021 at 6pm.

 

This was as a result of sixty-eight (68) samples processed by MSJMC.

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains at one thousand two hundred and sixteen (1216); which is inclusive of one hundred and ninety-nine (199) active cases.  Of these active cases, four (4) are hospitalized with two (2) being considered as moderate and two (2) mild.

 

Meanwhile, a total of two hundred and forty-four (244) Covid-19 vaccines were administered since the last publication of the dashboard increasing the total number of individuals vaccinated to twenty eight thousand eight hundred and eighty-three (28,883).

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

  1. In this case, vaccines should not be forced on anyone. Folks can continue following the protocols are working soooooo well.🙏
