Any such development is welcomed news but would Antiguans and Barbudans be able to afford the cost of getting treatment at the facility? I hope so. It is a known fact that health care is expensive the world over but I hope that the promises and presence of the facility in Antigua would bring some necessary relief and hope to Antiguans and Barbudans who have to pay huge sums for advanced medical treatment abroad or simply die due to their inability to afford treatment. We need assurances that Medical Benefits would act as surety and cover the expenses, at least a portion of it, for sick persons that are treated at this facility.
