The Government is in the final stages of acquiring the 10 acres of land from the Estate of Eunice Edwards, on which to construct the new Five Islands Primary School.
One of the conditions of sale is the erection (by the Government) of boundary fencing around the 10 acres of land being acquired.
The contractor has been engaged to construct the new primary school; however, the contractor will not have access to the site until this condition is satisfied.
The Cabinet agreed to the terms for the fence’s construction.

I honestly thought that D. Gisele Isaac and Jamal Pringle were the best two people to be at the helm of the UPP as chairperson and political leader respectively. However, with the rapid decline of the party after the convention and your inability to hold the party executive together, I think the honorable thing to do is resign in the interest of the organization.
I know that you were duly elected/ democratically but that is not all. I know that the sour losers will seem to come out as winners . Dame you are a Patriotic Antiguan who loves this country more than Any that holds political power. I believe that wholeheartedly. I believe that you are completely misunderstood and misrepresented by those that were once your very own – so called brothers and sisters. The Christ was betrayed by Judas. However it is far better that you resign from the leadership and let the chips fall where it may. It’s going to be painful and you will be met with further ingratitude- so was Christ.
I don’t see the party going anywhere at this point. No strengthening and possible if an election is to be held right now you might not even have a single Pringle.
Drastic times calls for drastic measures. In time like these leaders are born/ Chosen.
Richard Lewis not so fast- you are a part of the problem. Obviously you are not well supported from amount the party faithfuls. During this hemorrhage you twiddle your finger and I might add smile while the UPP burnt. Yet you came out trying to make statements about issues upon issues. How can you be throwing stones at your neighbor house , while your house is literally on fire and you have not even cast a cup of water in your own.
So I have taken a deep and hard look and I once more look towards the TRADE UNION from which the UPP/PLM was born. To cut the story short- Mr. David Messiah I place all my chips on your shoulders. You are eloquent, strong, can win All Saints west seat – this is where you are from and will get the full support of both the UPP supporters and independents and plenty of labourites families- and you know that! All Saints West will support you and have been asking you for a long long time.
Barbra take up a role in the Union , you will grow into that role and become a great trade unionist. This will be a win , win situation.
sorry to burst your little pipe dream bubble, but David Massiah is basically a geriatric Senator waiting for a pension at the end of this term. Where are the 25% youth that UPP promised to appoint to the Senate? What kind of message is UPP sending to the youths? That they don’t matter. The youth group inside the party already published a letter stating that very thing. Barbra got her ass whipped in football elections, waht makes you think anyone or any organization will take her seriously after that trouncing from Batow? wishful thinking will not get you anywhere. Wake up and face reality!

@LIAR.THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES CAMPUS IN FIVE ISLANDS .IT WAS BUILT TO BE A SECONDARY SCHOOL.THE ADMINISTRATION ALONG WITH UWI TURNED IT INTO A CAMPUS.
I DO LIKE THE FACT. THE OWNER HAS A STIPULATION.THE ENTIRE 10 ACRES MUST BE FENCED OFF BEFORE ANYTHING COULD BE DONE THERE.LET US SEE WHAT HAPPENS THERE.
