Health Ministry apologizes for late COVID-19 dashboard update

3

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment apologizes for the delayed publication of the dashboard.

This was due to a number of unavoidable matters encountered by the Epidemiology Unit.

An increase in the number of cases led to a larger than usual volume of samples being processed requiring a longer period of time to analyze.

This has now been resolved and the Ministry remains committed to providing updated dashboards and shall engage all efforts to ensure that the public receives information in a timely manner.

  1. So testing and updating a dashboard are insurmountable challenges? What about actually managing the pandemic?

For starters, why is there the need for PCR testing when after more than a year we lack the resources to speedily perform these tests? Many other countries are using rapid testing while using the PCR for confirmation. Why aren’t we doing this which would most certainly clear up a lot of “active cases” who most have already recovered?

This bungling and uncertainty only gives the moronic conspiracy theorists and anti vaxxers reason to doubt and give the political opportunists the ammunition to capitalize on the beliefs of these mindless fools.

  2. Gaston Browne, it is time for that man Molwyn to go a yard. He seems not to be capable and able to run that Ministry of Health and the Environment.

  3. That was not an excuse. If you observed that there will be a problem updating the dashboard inform the public at once and when the matter is resolved you publish it
