St. Mary of Zion Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Diocese of Antigua & Barbuda

To whom it may concern;

On behalf of the Parish Council Committee and the congregation of the St. Mary of Zion EOTC located in Bendals.

We are denouncing any claims made by Anthony Joseph (Wolde Hiwot) from Trinidad a member who made a donation to the church of tiles for a baptism pool, however, the pool is yet to be completed to the stage were it can be tiled.

The tiles are still on the church premises; however, he is claiming that he is owed money for the tiles that he donated.

On behalf of the Priest in Charge and the Congregation we are requesting him to recant his
claim and to make a full apology for this malicious act and for him breaking into the Church
building and into the Priest’s personal residence.

  1. If indeed a donation was given to the Church.Why would he wants to be paid for it? There something awry with this matter.Why the Police are not involved for him breaking into the Church?

  2. This is so ridiculous. A wannabe church airing their dirty laundry before the public. No wonder the people are getting fed up with all this nonsense that’s taking place in the name of religion. They need to get some of the old time prayer warriors, the old ladies who are the backbone of the faith, and get them to bind the evil spirits and kick the guilty to the curb. The guilty may not be who you think. Something nutty going on here. Imagine, not having enough spiritual power, a “church” has to turn to the media to air their dirty laundry. What a stench. Be careful before the ancestors put a curse on somebody. (I hope not, but you can’t do them things. From what I can see, there is enough guilt to go around on both sides of this mess. God ain’t gonna put up with too much of this.)

    Come to Jesus!!!

  3. What nonsense is this? It’s an internal matter and does not belong in the public. Shame on you.

  4. Why in the name of heaven did the church put a letter like this into the public domain?

    This letter seems vindictive and goes against Godly principles.

    Shame on you EOC SHAME ON YOU..

    Whom ever is over this church needs God.

    • Mel, you are totally right on this one. These people are turning others away from the Truth. Such a rotten example. Chuups.
