Glentis Davis, 31 of Christian Street, Grays Farm was convicted and fined $20,000 on multiple drug charges in St. Johns Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
He appeared before Chief Magistrate Walsh charged with Possession of 732.2 grams of Cannabis, Possession with intent to transfer and Possession with intent to sell.
He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay $12,500 forthwith.
He has up until the end of March this year to pay the remaining balance, or serve two years at Her Majesty’s Prison.
The Court heard that officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department, K-9 and Narcotics executed a search at his home on Saturday, and found the illegal drugs in his possession.
The drugs were seized and he was arrested and taken into custody.
