Harold Lovell, the Political Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), says he is pleased that the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court will be returning to its High Street premises and vacating the Grays/Green Community Centre. CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATSAPP GROUP.

Last Wednesday, June 23, following its weekly meeting, the Cabinet announced that renovation of the former building is almost complete.

Once the renovations have been completed, the Magistrates’ Court will return to that location, where four courts operate: two criminal courts, a traffic court and a civil court.

Lovell says this is long overdue, and he commends UPP Senator Richard Lewis for championing the call for the court to return to its old location and the Community Centre to be handed over to the people.

A timeframe has not been given by which the move will take place; therefore, Lovell is hoping that word of the move is not mere talk.

Residents of the Grays/Green Community have been agitating for the Court to be moved, so that the residents could enjoy the complex, which has a basketball court among its amenities. — REAL News

  3. RICHARD LEWIS??? He is MIA. Has not been seen or heard since BALDWIN SPENCER DELIVERED A ROUSING ENDORSEMENT OF THE UWI FIVE ISLANDS CAMPUS. Richard STORMED OUT the consultation meeting and been deeply hurt ever since.

Malaka Parker working to steal some votes from Richard. Meanwhile the elitist elements in the UPP REFUSE TO ENDORSE Richard because his wife is JAMAICAN.

  4. OK.

Good luck with your character assasination.

It might be better spent harassing Gaston for some fuel relief, cost of living relief and stimulus in dem hard hard times.
THERE IS TOO MUCH STARVATION IN THE DAM ISLAND….MAKES ME WANT TO CRY. THINGS TOO TOO HARD. GASTON AND ABLP MUST GO AND SOONER RATHER THAN LATER.

    • The ABLP , their family members and the few who are benefitting are out of touch. They don’t understand the real pain and suffering that people are going through. CUSSING and tearing down people is no substitute for governance

  6. “Bro. Harold Lovell told me he was done with elective politics and ask me if I would lead the UPP. In a subsequent conversation, he even suggested who I could consult as my deputy. I wrote the sixteen (16) Constituency Branches of the UPP, officially informing them of my bid for the Political Leader position. To my surprise, Bro. Harold changed his mind and decided to run, but DIDN’T SEE IT FIT TO EVEN INFORM ME. Instead, I received several calls from individuals suggesting that I back down.”

WATCH YO BACK RICHARD. EVEN THO LOVELL ON HIS WAY OUT, HE WILL MEK SURE TO UNDERMINE YOU AGAIN ON THE WAY OUT!!
