LISTEN: Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle Praises Prime Minister Browne’s Forceful Leadership Style

1. What a late reaction from ANR. I guess they had to seek clearance before to publish that. Well another one called on a platform at one time to vote for the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party. And he said you did it before and you can do it again.
   Listen the mouth speaketh out of the abundance of the heart. So you can’t blame him for speaking the truth. Might not have been the wisest political thing to do. But at the same time the PM has always told him to go and improve himself. And he has not taken that advise to heart.

I am glad Jamale Pringle admires the PM for his so called skills to lead our country thats why he will never be taken seriously on any level…advancing onself and staying relevant is very important in ones personal growth and it is evident why people resinate with other caretakers in the UPP Organization who are willing to take a road and not the high one…you are stuck and may need to re-think your future in politics….for the record Gastoon Brown does not 👀👀👀you….his blinders😎😎😎 are always on…..

3. As I have shouted Pringle is the man. He is reasonable at times and rational. Sadly at times the noise makers in his party distracts him. With maturity.. RL long lost his way and as his constituency has realized, is useless

4. I guess we now understand why Hon. Pringle did not receive the endorsements of his colleagues in the UPP leadership race.

   I feel very let down by this display of…. let me leave it right there.

8. This is a perfect example of why Mr. Pringle for leader will be a catastrophic mistake. Even if what he said about the PM is true and those are the attributes he admires about him, you just don’t go and broadcast it to all of A&B. Your comment has/will alienate some of the UPP supporters. Would you adopt those leadership styles you mentioned as the leader of the UPP?

    You’re probably feeling [slighted]by the fact, that Richard Lewis, MP is the front runner, to become the next leader of the UPP and the present Opposition.

    A…while you were[are] at the helm of the UPP, as the Leader, you’re not aggressive enough to manage or handle Gaston Browne, MP and that’s obvious and understandable.

    While being defensive is important to win in some sports, and in particular, a #HUEman Blood_Sport like politics, where you gotta roll your sleeves up, put up your guard, throw some punches, be on the offensive to WIN, you’re not exhibiting these #TRAITS, at this time.

    • Having seen the headline, I choose to wait for the comments before listening to the statement(s) of the Leader of The Opposition. Interestingly MP Pringle’s statements were the most direct as I have ever heard him.
      He was not caught off guard making an unintended statement, he was quite emphatic in his message to Antigua and Barbuda.
      These were thought-out, deliberate and unequivocal statements made by the Leader of The Opposition in his praise of Gaston Browne.
      In making these statements MP Pringle has thrown the UPP Party of which he is a leader “Under the Bus”

      His public statements will be the theme of the next election.

      No one could have imagined Jamal Pringle an MP who became leader by default, would have ended his career with the UPP Party he once dreamed to lead in Government.

      This is damaging but does not have to be fatal. Richard Lewis has shown himself to have the moxie to lead the party.

      What the ABLP leadership and Gaston has to say will give an indication as to if this was orchestrated with their knowledge and plan.

      Pringle has one of the UPP safe seats. It’s going to be interesting how The UPP Executive body handles this. Is Pringle a turncoat who intends to run his current Constituency on an ABLP ticket?

13. Does anyone know what was the question Matthew-Ward asked the Hon. Pringle for his response? Did he asked him to describe PM Browne style of leadership compared to the other Caribbean leaders? The video played on Pointe FM was cut up that it’s hard to know what the question asked.

    • @Lennox…if the question by Ward was meant, trap him, this is where being light footed and whitty, in an instant, as a good leader he [Pringle], takes a deep breath, take a sip of water, regroup his thought process, put up a ([mirror] mentality, of course), and use some form of deflection, crack a joke, break up the answer, so that, if, as your suggesting there was some form of editing nothing new, in propoganda politics, your thoughts in a case such as this, would be ‘satirical.’

How can these ALP foot-soldiers all of a sudden praise Pringle when they are the same ones who claimed that he can’t read, speak nor understand and they shudder of the thought of him being in government. They have learnt from Gaston and Max; even their thoughts are lies. I would love Pringle to defect and be elevated in their Party to prove once more than Gaston has absolutely no good use for them, other than what they are doing now. He sees them as dregs.

15. Pringle is a big opportunist who saw politics as a way to line his pockets and set himself in life, he doesn’t not care about anyone, he was a bad choice from the start, you could put a dog in All Saints East and St. Luke and it’s going to win. People wise up and don’t support this punk!!
