LETTER: Shout Out To Senior Sargent Kenny McBurnie And The Traffic Police Officers

Dear Editor,

 

I wrote a letter to Antigua Newsroom to express my disgust and frustration about the nonfunctioning stop light at All Saints road Intersection net to Town House Mega Store.

 

I saw a lot of people in the comment section mostly agreeing with my concerns expressed.

 

I want to thank the public for their comment whether it was positive or negative comments.

 

However, I would like to apologize to Senior Sergent Kenny McBurnie. I honestly thought it was the traffic department responsible for traffic issues in the country. CLICK HERE TO JOIN WHATS APP GROUP

 

I was told it was public works who is responsible for the maintenance of the traffic lights in this island. My apologies Senior Sergent Kenny McBurnie.

 

I still stand on  my point that light  needs to be fixed.

 

Finally, I want to really big up the two traffic Police officers who I passed at that junction on my way to work this morning.

 

They did an excellent job conducting the flow of traffic and it was so smooth and orderly.

 

No one was there justling and pushing their head of their car thinking they got the right of way. I

 

t was smooth and very orderly and the traffic moved much better this morning, way better than yesterday with the Police being there today.

 

I felt very safe because it was so orderly and smooth.

 

I hope and pray the Traffic Police officers will continue to be there during the peak rush hours in the morning and the peak rush hours in the afternoon from 4pm when everyone is trying to get home safely until the traffic light is fixed and it is not just a one hit wonder today.

 

Shoutout to the Traffic Police Officers once again.
