Dear Senator Browne,
I want to take this moment to extend high commendations to you for your intellectual radio talk shows especially the Browne & Browne show that you showcase on Saturdays.
The programs are extremely informative and educational and it gives us the audience including the common man, a moment to be intimate with the PM, which tend to be a very rare phenomenon in other countries.
Now, with that been said, last week, in one of your recent programs, you began highlighting several accomplishments that the Gaston Browne govt has achieved within the short 10 year span of governing this country, in order to improve the standard of our nation’s economy, infrastructure, and social services.
As I listen to your critics & to the opposing UPP supporters, it is obvious to me, that some of those persons are conveniently suffering from political dementia or memory loss, coupled with political vision impairment.
In contrast, I am sure the blind can see the massive Economic Development and Infrastructural Improvements that this ABLP government has done to this country from 2014 to present.
It is for this reason, the populace should be continuously reminded of the achievements of the Gaston Browne administration. Hence, during the intermissions of your shows, there should be a clip played continuously with these accomplishments. No doubt these replays should become pleasing to the critics ears & would be a therapy for those who are politically myopic & suffering with political dementia.
Therefore Senator Browne, I am hoping that you take up the task to continuously remind us of the great things the Labour Party has done so far such as
1. The restructuring of national debt to stabilize & improve the country’s fiscal health.
2. The diversification of the economy from tourism to a focus on agriculture, renewable energy, and the digital economy.
3. The modernizing of the Infrastructural projects where our main road arteries, and govt buildings are now upgraded.
4. The enhancement of the Citizenship Investment program (CIP) to attract more foreign investment
5. The expansion of the Social Services program and the increased access to tertiary & higher vocational educational opportunities.
6.. the improvement and expansion of healthcare services such as dialysis, kidney transplants and the removal of eye cataract.
7. The granting of affordable Housing to the low- and middle-income families.
8 The transformation of our sis island Barbuda into a revenue generating hub and simultaneously providing hundreds of jobs for the locals.
9. The empowering of young people to become law makers an national ambassadors
10. The enhancement of our tourism industry attracting Mega ships & introducing homeporting never seen before in Antigua.
11. The revival of Liat 20 as a considerable & competitive priced air taxi.
12 The prevention of hundreds of bank employees losing their jobs
13. The access to funds/loans through NDF to enhance or start an entrepreneurship program
14 The creation of opportunities for youth development through various programs, including sports, education,, politics and employment initiatives.

Yes, let’s remind the citizens of the hogwash and baloney over Gaston Browne’s useless two terms tutelage.
Here are the facts as witnessed by our empty pockets and what we see:
1. The National debt is still way too high and needs to be addressed for our country’s long-term recovery.
2. The diversification into other financial sectors should have taken place a decade ago. ABLP being reactive instead of proactive. Many Antiguans pockets are still empty.
3. The country still awaits the completion of our road infrastructure, and this government must stop acting like everything is up and running – it is not! We have eyes.
4. Where are the visible signs that the CIP (in its current form) has improved Antigua & Barbuda financial well-being? And don’t forget the homeland security weaknesses of using third party outsourcing.
5. Yes, Social Services needs an urgent update so that recipients can be paid on a regular basis.
6. Antigua’s health care standards should be on a par with that of our Parliamentary Members they obtain at home or abroad. Health care isn’t just for the privileged few. Address dat, Browne & Browne radio?
7. The distribution of affordable and middle income homes shouldn’t be awarded on who you know, or who you voted for.
8. Our Barbudan neighbours needs much more than the hospitality sector, and being perceived as serving the rich and infamous only.
9. I couldn’t agree more with empowering our youth.
10. Those Mega ships should not only pay their fair share for the upkeep and maintenance for larger docking facilities, but also pay extra for embarking tourists (per head); because they rarely frequent local Antiguan businesses.
11. The revival of Liat will hopefully be a success, but never forget the previous employees who still await their severance and backpay. They have families to feed.
12. Yes, save bank employees jobs, but they must become more professional in dealing with their customers – in the last 2-3 years there have been too many complaints of poor practices by them.
13. Autochthonous Antiguans welcomes more help in entrepreneurship and business startup programs; and concessions would be a good thing, just like our overseas counterparts receive.
14. ABLP In the first instance, must ensure that all the facilities for sports, education, and training venues for employment is a must. Hopefully, these facilities will be of the same standard of Goverment our buildings.
All the above have one thing much in common:
THERE IS STILL A LOT OF WORK TO BE DONE BY THE ABLP.

I am neither UPP nor ALP, I am apolitical. Whichever government is power I respect. That said, I think this man deserves an award for being a radio host for decades since Sun FM and still producing some of the best programmes that are widely listened to. The UPP never saw his talent but the world boss did.
The ABLP continues to take the creme de la creme from the UPP, simply because the UPP lack vision. If Serpent can get an award Senator Browne is more deserving.

As for Gaston Browne, the so-called World Boss, was able to perceive Senator Browne’s undeniable talent, while the UPP just did not. Isn’t this a fact? In context, the relative speaks to the issues of good leadership against mediocrity respectively.
