LENWORTH JOHNSON GRADUATES FROM UWI WITH DOCTOR OF EDUCATION DEGREE

Former United Progressive Party Senator and former Bar Association President Lenworth Johnson has graduated from the University of the West Indies (Global Campus) with a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree.

Mr. Johnson, who is an Attorney-at-Law, stated that he was happy to graduate from the regional university with an education degree particularly since his mother, Ada May Johnson, deceased, had been an educator for over fifty years. Mr. Johnson dedicated his degree to her.

Asked what he plans to do with his new qualifications, Mr. Johnson said that he is unsure at this time, however he is sure opportunities will arise. The five year course covered all aspects of education from Lesson Plans to Financial Planning and Management of Educational Institutions to Leadership in Higher Education.

Mr. Johnson took the opportunity to reinforce the adage that education is for your whole life, not just during one’s formative years. Further, citizens can achieve anything once they put their minds to it.

YEAH, he is very nonconfrontational (my opinion) as a lawyer, let’s hope he gets more spine as aDr. (my wish).

    Congratulations either way!!

  2. Congratulations to this person for this great achievement. Sadly, what positions are available locally for someone of his caliber? None. Migrate..

  3. Are uwi longdistance / global campus doctor degrees for real?
One woman took 10yrs. She went to her graduation in Trinidad

  4. Migrate for what??? Isn’t he a “WORSHIPFUL MASTER” in the satanic lodge?? His “brothers” will sort him out l.

It’s the folks who are not souled out or “connected” you should be concerned about

  5. I just don’t know how so many Antiguan could be so educated I observe externally bit not internally, look at our so call engineers, so time we internalize our education to our benefits and the nation, because we still have to bring in people for our customs, police commissioner, road works, and to generate electricity because our engineers can’t keep our asset functional, that’s the APUA electricity manager , please stop bombarding us with pieces of paper and go abroad and get internship in a develop country and then come back to contribute.
