Keanu Gianni Dennie, who broke into house and fell asleep, charged

Keanu Gianni Dennie, who allegedly broke into a home in Falmouth and was found sleeping on a couch over the weekend, has been charged with Breaking with Intent, Malicious damage, and Breaking curfew.

Dennie appeared in court Monday morning and plead not guilty to breaking curfew.

The complainant said she did not want to proceed with the charges of breaking with Intent and malicious damage.

Dennie’s bail was set at $1,000 with no cash component.

The matter will go to trial on September 28.

  3. I wondered what time of the 24 hours day.Did the home owner find him sleeping in the House.If the home decided not to press charges for breaking with intent. How could they charge him with breaking Curfew? When he was not caught by the Police on the outside.

      He was clearly ‘…not the kind of criminal,’ investigators seemingly assumed he was.

      This may also have been deduced from the attitude of the homeowner/care taker.

      CLEARLY: That which was done to the intruder speaks to ‘…Exuberance and Stupidity.’

      • @Rawlston Pompey: In my opinion. The Police threw mud on the wall hoping some would stick. They have no case against the young man.Are they trying to get money into the Treasury?

    • Well said the police is wasting the court and people time. Let it go and move on there is no case here once the home owner is not pressing charges
