Tiffanie Stephanie Howell, a 30-year-old Jamaican national, who escaped immigration custody, turned herself in and faces sentencing today.
She has been charged with escaping lawful custody and admitted to the crime during a hearing at the All-Saints Magistrate’s court on Monday.
The whereabouts of the other escapee, Donnalee Samantha Salmon, remain unknown.

Authorities are urging the public to provide information leading to Salmon’s location and have reminded people not to shelter or aid either woman.

This is a very curious situation. Why were they held by immigration? Isn’t Jamaica a part of CARICOM? China now has visa free access to Antigua and Barbuda and no work permit requirement, so why do CARICOM nationals still require time and work permits?
You have a very strong point 🥱👀
Yep…the Chinese and others of that ilk…i.e. skin color are allowed to sail smoothly through immigration and customs…no questions, no baggage inspection! God help you if you’re a person of color! That seems to be a problem with airport staff. But just wait, pretty soon immigrations and customs will be staffed by the Chinese…who will be saying “Welcome to Chinese Antigua!”
To @Antigua First….. A very valuable and interesting question!!! I mean cause make it make sense come on now @Mr. Ministers……
She better glad dem hold she before me bwaaay
Did they commit a crime what went wrong
Why?
Our Detectives here are jokers. First, my understanding the trip was arranged by aT&T resident, they both escaped together, so I assume they were hiding out together at same location at some point and time. She turning herself in, should have all answer, of who, where and support.
So why they can’t sentence murders or rapist this quickly….. family gotta go thru years of agony before they get justice…
