The Ministry of Tourism says it will open registration process for inspection of small and large hotel properties inclusive of Air BnB properties with stand-alone units from Thursday May 21st, 2020.
The registration process will be undertaken by Ms. Camesha Joseph at the Ministry of Tourism headquarters on Queen Elizabeth Highway between the hours of 8 am and 1 pm daily. Ms. Joseph can be contacted via direct line 468-4055 during the said hours.
The first phase of the Tourism Sector Re-opening/Recovery initiative will run from June 1st to September 30th, 2020, and property owners are hereby advised that operations cannot commence without official inspection and certification.
No facility with shared amenities or domestic space shared between the host and guests will be approved in phase 1.
