24-year-old Hewette Weathered has been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison after being charged with robbing the Guang Yuan Supermarket in Radio Range on August 19, where he allegedly stole a cash pan and $700.
He was arrested on August 24 during a police stop-and-search operation near Perry Bay Supermarket.
Classified as an indictable offense, Weathered’s case will undergo committal proceedings, with his next court appearance scheduled for October 17 to determine if there is sufficient evidence for trial.
