Hewette Weathered Charged with Robbery
Police have arrested and charged 24-year-old Hewette Weathered of John Hughes with Robbery.
He is accused of robbing the owners of Guang Yuan Supermarket of a cash pan, and $700 in cash on August 19, at Radio Range.
Weathered was apprehended by police during a stop-and-search operation on Saturday, August 24, in the vicinity of Perry Bay Supermarket, and taken into custody.
He will be appearing in court today.
The Police Administration is expressing thanks to members of the public who assisted the police in their investigation.
The police are appealing for continued support going forward.
