Gov’t sets up accounts for the receipt of donations

3
The Government of Antigua and Barbuda has established two accounts for the receipt of cash donations for the Barbuda Relief and Recovery effort.
Barbuda was hit by Hurricane Irma which severely damaged more than 90 percent of all buildings, and demolished approximately 30 percent of all homes there.
The name and number of the account at the Antigua Commercial Bank is: Barbuda Relief and Rebuilding Fund: Account No. 100004717.
The name and number of the account at the Caribbean Union Bank is: Barbuda Relief & Rebuilding Fund, Account No. 100 013 72.

It is the intention of the Prime Minister’s Office to enable transfers from virtually all but a few states (excluding those which are not permitted by UN Security Council Resolutions or US Executive Orders).

  1. Is there an official text message or go fund me account whereby we can donate? I see a lot of requests in google but not sure if any are legitimate.
