The lawsuit, filed last week, accuses the parks authority of breaching her collective bargaining agreement by withholding entitled allowances.

Jannie, who served as Human Resource Manager for seven years, claims she was unfairly denied allowances from January 2015 to March 2023.

Despite assuming HR Manager duties since November 2014, she was never officially confirmed in the role.

Although promised confirmation by the parks commissioner, she received only a $500 stipend from January 2022.CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATS APP GROUP

Jannie seeks $377,545, including base pay, travel, and telephone allowances, contending the parks authority’s $148,000 settlement offer falls short.

The case is now proceeding to the industrial court despite attempts by the Parks Authority to resolve it.
