The father of Ricknaldo Isaac, a 26-year-old prisoner who died in May after an alleged confrontation with a prison guard, is seeking justice.
Isaac, serving a one-year sentence for malicious damage, died in the hospital after reportedly becoming paralyzed from severe spinal injuries. Speculation exists that his pre-existing epilepsy may have contributed to his death.

Prison administrator Colonel Trevor Pennyfeather confirmed ongoing police investigations.
Aaron Isaac, Ricknaldo’s father, fears his son might be buried without his knowledge. “I want a proper funeral and to know the cause of his death. He died in government custody, and I need proper justice,” he said.

Aaron wishes to hold the service at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Tindale Road. Remembering Ricknaldo as a high achiever who loved nature, gardening, and singing, Aaron noted the loss has been especially hard on Ricknaldo’s four-year-old daughter.
As the investigation continues, the family awaits answers and justice for Ricknaldo Isaac’s death in custody.
