Clothing Found at Nut Grove

A Nut Grove family is currently in police custody assisting the police with their investigations; following a search of their property which turned up a firearm and ammunition, among other things.

On Saturday, officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department, Narcotics, K-9 and Rapid Response Units conducted an operation on a Nut Grove property and found one 9mm pistol and a matching round of ammunition.

Two bulletproof vests, Camouflage clothing and clothing with “Police” printed on them, electronic equipment, and an undisclosed sum of money were also found. The items were seized and taken to the police station pending further investigations.

    • Nope 1 to 1 1/2 years max. The last find of a bullet proof vest the man was given 3 months.

      The courts are not in tune to the pulse of the society and the efforts of the police.

  1. Sounds like they had really good intentions. Perhaps they intended to host a community tea party, hold hands and sing Kum Bah Yah. A similar idea to what “Ten Pound” had in mind when he went by those apartments in the Lightfoot area.
