(Antigua News Room) Police hauled dozens of people into the St. John’s Police Station after raiding Dre’s Bar on Kentish Road Friday night.

According to reports, police officers found more than 50 people gathered at the establishment.

Health regulations currently restrict public gatherings to no more than 25 people to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

It is unclear whether charges were laid in the incident but the large group was subsequently released.

Last month 16 people were arrested and several were fined after police raided Dianne’s Bar in Villa.

  1. Address the officer at the dockyard station playing with a crab and none of his other colleagues have on a mask.

  2. Is playing with a crab really an issue? They are humans too. Address the issues when they do wrong but don’t bash them for being humans.

  3. The police are doing such an excellent job of policing this very dangerous crime of people hanging out!

Minor matters such as an Officer of the crown being taken from his home and executed in broad daylight…well they’ll get to that once they finish rounding up people simply “hanging out” in a supposedly free country.
Similar to a woman being shot in the middle of Heritage Quay, again in broad daylight and still no leads.

  4. People certain crimes cannot be solved without witnesses. We have adopted the the crap Informer fu dead.
People see thing and they dont talk. News flash. There are number of unsolved cases that FBI and Scotland yard in their places has not solved with all their resources.
