Massiah, while acknowledging the departures, expressed a lack of personal concern regarding the matter, emphasizing that individuals have their own motivations and objectives. She was speaking on Twin Island Media yesterday.
Massiah refrained from delving into the reasons behind the departures, stating, “That’s not a question for me to answer. I don’t know what their thought processes are.”
Despite the loss of members, Massiah reiterated the DNA’s commitment to its principles and vision for the country. “I stand firmly in what we have advocated as the philosophy, motto, vision, and mission of the Democratic National Alliance,” she affirmed.
Drawing parallels between political leadership and parenting, Massiah highlighted her belief in providing individuals with the freedom to make their own decisions. “Each person has a mind of his or her own,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of autonomy in decision-making.
“I am one who believes I am a very fluid and flexible parent,” Massiah continued, underscoring her parenting style that prioritizes nurturing individuals to bring out their best selves while respecting their autonomy. She expressed a reluctance to impose her will on others, a sentiment rooted in her own experiences as a child.

You are dealing with KARMA with all your defections and resignations. Your party kept the ABLP in office by the narrowest of margins (13 votes in one constituency).
Because of this, whatever support you had has now disappeared, just like Gassssston when he dances abroad when his bulldust regularly hits the fan.
