We, the members and supporters of TeamDeanJonas, are appalled by the recent social media rant posted by the current Member of Parliament for St. George, who has shown a shocking lack of respect and empathy for the people he is supposed to serve. In his rant, he exposes the personal details of needy constituents who seek his help, without any regard for their privacy or dignity. He also complains about the difficulties of his job and insults the intelligence and character of the people who voted for him.

We condemn this unacceptable behavior and call on the MP to apologize to the people of St. George for his disrespect and insensitivity. We also call on the people of St. George to remember and appreciate the exemplary service and leadership that Dean Jonas provided as their MP from 2014 to 2023. Dean Jonas was a highly competent and experienced MP who faithfully served his fellow residents with integrity, trustworthiness, experience and proven abilities. He was motivated by a genuine love and concern for the wellbeing of the people and worked hard to find solutions that would improve their lives. He was also the most popular candidate on the ABLP ticket in the 2023 elections, receiving the most votes from the people who valued his qualities.

We, TeamDeanJonas, are committed to continuing the legacy of Dean Jonas and to listening to the people, working with them to find solutions, and ensuring that their voices are heard and respected. We are confident that all constituents of St. George can now see the clear difference between the two candidates and realize who is truly qualified and capable of representing them. We urge all those who are unhappy with the current situation to seek out and support Dean Jonas as the care-taker in St George. Together, we can build a better and more inclusive community where everyone’s needs and concerns are met with care and respect.

      • Not to mention which island serpent ran from before he was arrested for alleged rape. But that aside. Dean was acquitted of those charges. He went through the court process as anyone else that is innocent would have done. Not run away from the court.

    “During the election, during the campaign coming up to the election, that particular individual did a wonderful job in promoting the UPP, so I was involved in terms of raising campaign funds. I gave that individual, because I felt he has done a wonderful job, $10,000. After the election he called me on the phone and he said that he is living in the east end. The house he’s living in is not in a good condition – leaking and everything. He wants to go to the bank as it were to borrow money to purchase a house and so on. So if I can help him with a similar amount. The individual is one who CAME TO MY HOME and I GAVE HIM ANOTHER $10,000 that I draw off a me bank book with my wife joint account and gave it to him. After months in the election, you know I’m involved in the real estate business, the individual asked me if I could let him get into the business. I said yes but the funny thing about it is that the banks would not turn over that kind of business to the individual.
