A 26-year-old man, Teshorn Lawrence, accused of storming a Villa home with a firearm, will have his committal hearing postponed until October 17.

The incident occurred on June 6 when Lawrence allegedly pointed the gun at a woman after a dispute over a phone call.

Following his arrest, he was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison, as bail for gun-related charges cannot be granted by a magistrate.

Lawrence will remain in custody until his hearing or any potential bail application to the High Court.(OBSERVER)
