Cashew Hill Man Questioned in Shooting Incident

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Wednesday, October 8, 2025
A Cashew Hill resident is currently in police custody being questioned in connection with a shooting incident at Cashew Hill, on Tuesday evening.
Reports indicate that around 8:00 p.m., residents in the area heard what sounded like gunshots being fired.
A team of officers from the Criminal Investigations Department and the Task Force (CIDTF) promptly responded the report.

One male suspect was later arrested on suspicion of being involved in the alleged incident.
No injuries were reported to the police.
Further investgations are ongoing into the matter.
Meanwhile, the police are appealing to anyone with information that can assist in this investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 911.
