As we are now approaching the general elections, I have began doing my assessment of both political parties & their track record.
Presently, I am not attached to either UPP or ABLP. However, it is my right & civic duty to exercise my franchise when that day comes.
So far, I am not convinced that UPP is ready. It is very evident that they have been caught with their pants down and are now trying to get their act in order at this late stage.
As for ABLP, I am left here wondering if they are now rebranded as ABPLP (Antigua & Barbuda Progressive Labour Party ). When I look at the candidates on the ABLP slate, I am seeing about 9 individuals who were considered to have strong allegiance to UPP.
I do understand that numbers matters, hence your political door will be open to accept whatsoever may come.
However, I am a bit baffled as to why you have welcomed them in and propelled these individuals to the top of your administration especially those who have just arrived.
Question: Are their hearts really pure and why overlook qualified persons who have been dedicated to the ABLP party?
I will admit that your decision does not sit well with me. Is it that you are intimidated by these MEN in BLUE? Who next will you be offering such royalties to? I am sure many more persons share the same sentiment & asking the same question.Last election you got my vote, this time around consider me off of that list.

Alex it’s plain and simple. Gassy Dread has the goods on the ALP/ABLP Stalwarts to destroy their very public persona, or make every effort to do so, just he did with those former Members, of the UPP, while they were under the banner of the UPP.
However, now that they, these former Members of the UPP have crossed the Jordan River, got baptized in the red blood of Labour, drank their RED ROOSTER blood from the holy grail of the ALP CALABASH, and being sanitized by Saint Gassy Dread de Baldhead, they are forgiven of all of their SINS and can now sing praises to king &?saint gassy dread.
These new converts from the UPP are Gaston’s Pawns on the front lines of this political war games. They become his #Ace_up_his_sleeve, to squash any Cou’p de tat attempt in his ABLP.
They are very expendable; but, out of foolish pride and arrogance, like abused #CULT_MEMBERS most will be too ashamed and embarrassed, to speak up and out about the roles which they are called upon to play.
Not a bad move by Gaston, but it opens the gate to the ABLP Fort to Trojan Horses.
Pringle need to train some FEMALE DOUBLE AGENTS – #Bond_Girl Style and let them loose in the ABLP FORT. A few Spanish ladies will do just fine for this job!
The UPP should focus their campaign on returning the PARLIAMENT HOUSE to the PEOPLE.
PLEDGE TO RECRUIT AND UTILIZE PROFESSIONALS FROM THE PRIVATE SECTOR to fill prominent positions in the Government and keep their micro managing on vacation. Give these professionals the opportunity to help manage and steer the government.
