Source-realnewsantigua.com- A Buckleys Street, Green Bay, man allegedly was wounded while
engaged in a game of cards with another man.
He placed a call to the Police from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, reporting the matter, at about 4 a.m.
that same morning.
When officers went to the hospital, they met the victim sitting in a wheelchair
with a bleeding wound to his left foot, which was wrapped in a towel.
Reportedly, while he and the alleged perpetrator were playing a card game for
money in the Perry Bay area, an altercation ensued, and the alleged offender
used a stone to inflict the wound.
The Buckleys Street man sustained the
injury just above the ankle, which was also swollen.
The Police conducted a search for the alleged offender but without success.
