A lawsuit could be coming to Antiguan website which published a defamatory article about the visit of Saudi Arabian officials.
Cabinet Notes:
The Prime Minister noted the insulting and politically-motivated remarks published on an Antiguan website that thoughtlessly printed a story about the visit of a Saudi Arabian official who visited Antigua and several Caribbean countries over the past week.
The Saudi and his government were seeking the support of Heads of Government of CARICOM to election to the W.T.O. Antigua and Barbuda facilitated the Saudi official.
The website speculated wildly about the motive and made other kinds of insulting conjecture, the Prime Minister pointed out, that shamed the Saudis.
The Cabinet took note of the slanderous article.
